QI GONG for HEALTH

Qi Gong, also know as Chi Kung, is a moving meditation utilized to stimulate and promote health.  The word 'Qi' (or 'Chi'), pronounced 'key' or 'chee', means energy, the life force that animates all things.  The word 'Gong' ('Kung'), pronounced as it is spelled, means art.  Art is anything or activity that requires time, energy and attention to master.  Combining the two concepts provides the meaning of Qi Gong being the art of cultivating and circulating energy or the life force that nourishes and supports all the cells, tissues and fibers of our Being: Mind, Body, Emotions and Spirit.  

Qi Gong is a form of excercise that combines movements, breathing techniques, thoughts (meditation) and relaxation to enhance a persons experience of health and life.  The movements are simple, easy  nonexertive and flowing.  The breathing techniques are long and deep.  The thoughts are positive and natural.
