Ethics: Maintaining Boundaries with Clients - 4 CE Hours (Tuition $135)

Course expands student’s communication skills for some of the common conversations necessary in running a successful, ethical practice. Students will identify current scripts, design, and practice, then evaluate how to deliver newly designed scripts for intake, opening & closing the session, obtaining informed consent. Students will create and practice delivering scripts to cover a variety of situations, so that intentions are fulfilled and misinterpretations avoided. Participants will learn about and practice different skills for crafting booking conversation to increase the number of rebooks and client retention. Participants will obtain constructive feedback following presentations. Each student will leave with clear policies and practices and with the skills to educate their clients about these standards.
