Course introduces therapists to the basic Thai Yoga massage skills and techniques.  Covers indications & contraindications for Thai sessions, as well as the tools needed.  Therapists will be given ample time to observe and practice an anterior sequence, posterior sequence and a table sequence of a Thai massage session.

Course expands student therapist's knowledge and skills in the practice of self-care, and how it can benefit the delivery and longevity of their career. Course instructs on basics of essential oils, meditation, breathing techniques, stretches, exercises and Qigong. Self-application, implementation and execution of integrating hot & cold therapy into their current schedule. Students leave with the confidence to immediately utilize their new skills.

Course expands student’s skills at defining and communicating boundaries with clients. Students will list common conversations where boundary scripts are needed. Students will identify current scripts and evaluate current language used in client conversations. Students will create and practice new scripts designed to communicate clearly and to enforce their policies and ethical standards. Participants will obtain constructive feedback following presentations.

This course offers an in-depth exploration of the right to refuse guidelines set by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB) and ABMP Code of Ethics for Massage Therapists. Through discussions, practical applications, and group activities, participants will deepen their understanding of client rights, informed consent, professional boundaries, and ethical decision-making. Group activities will reinforce these concepts, allowing therapists to apply ethical principles to real-life situations.

This 3-hour course introduces bodyworkers and holistic healers to foundational business and marketing principles specifically designed for wellness professionals. Students will explore their unique mission and branding, learn to implement practical digital tools (including AI), and walk away with strategies to attract and retain ideal clients. Emphasis is placed on interactive exercises, personalized reflection, and real-world application.

Course expands student’s communication skills for some of the common conversations necessary in running a successful, ethical practice. Students will identify current scripts, design, and practice, then evaluate how to deliver newly designed scripts for intake, opening & closing the session, obtaining informed consent. Students will create and practice delivering scripts to cover a variety of situations, so that intentions are fulfilled and misinterpretations avoided. Participants will learn about and practice different skills for crafting booking conversation to increase the number of rebooks and client retention. Participants will obtain constructive feedback following presentations. Each student will leave with clear policies and practices and with the skills to educate their clients about these standards.

Course expands student therapist’s knowledge and skills in the application of hot and cold stones to the body & face. Course instructs on advanced application, implementation and execution of integrating cold stone facials into their current massage practice. Students practice with other options for providing heat & cold to support cold stone facial session. Introduction to Chakras, instruction in Chakra layout and Spinal layout sequence. Students leave with the confidence to immediately utilize their new skills.

Course expands student’s knowledge and skills in the area of foot massage. Course identifies indications & contraindications for feet, as well as the history of foot massage. Course instructs on advanced foot massage, as well as the essential oils that improve the effectiveness of the session, basic stretches and an overview of reflexology. Students will learn how to impact reflexology points, without expressing any diagnosis to the client, in order to remain inside our scope of practice. Students will get ample opportunity to practice new techniques, to ensure clarity of skills learned and comfort in providing an exceptional foot massage.

This Ethics course will focus on the dynamics of culture and roles. While we are attending to the needs of our clients, there are many dynamics of cultural roles that simply are not addressed in a therapist's educational foundation. We may be completely or mostly unaware of the boundaries related to society's diverse roles and related boundaries. This course will explore and identify the diverse potential of client roles and boundaries accessing our professional skills. This course will keep us on track with the diversity of roles and important facets associated with uncertain or changing boundaries.

Course introduces and expands therapist’s knowledge of essential oils and aromatherapy. A brief overview of the history of essential oil use & aromatherapy will begin a foundation providing insight into ways essential oils have been used by civilizations throughout the centuries. The main essential oils discussed will be lavender, peppermint and lemon - these are the most commonly used oils in massage & spa treatment protocols. Students will be introduced to an essential oil massage protocol for overall wellness & relaxation. Students will leave with a plan to introduce their clients to essential oils and the power of aromatherapy. Students leave with the confidence to immediately utilize their new skills.

To many people, Deep Tissue Massage means hard, aggressive, painful techniques meant to force the muscle to release tension. This type of work can leave the client with increased pain and the therapist burned out with stressed hands and joints. The latest anatomy research and development of advanced techniques show us the way to work in cooperation with the nervous system, the muscle proprioceptors, and the lymphatic system, engaging the body’s own healing mechanisms in order to release muscle tension and pain more thoroughly, deeply, and gently.

Every professional bodyworker should have the expertise, sensitivity and skills to safely and efficiently address chronic neck pain as well as neck strain syndromes. Equally as important is technical ability to treat tension and injuries in the rotator cuff muscles. This course will train the therapist in non-force deep tissue techniques and trigger point release for the anterior, medial and posterior neck muscles as well as all four SITS muscles and the associated muscles of the upper back, arm, and chest. Lymphatic flushing techniques will be demonstrated to relieve inflammation in the tissues. Stretching and breathing exercises will be given for client self-care.

Does your client have chronic low back pain that your massage isn't resolving? Do you think about working on the psoas but, hold back because you are nervous and lack confidence? This class is for you. The course will give you a clear picture of the anatomy of the psoas and the associated muscles in the glutes, hips and low back as well as the palpation skills to access and treat them confidently. You will learn a full deep tissue massage routine in the prone, supine and side lying positions with secure draping. Positional Release techniques assist in sinking deep into the muscles without pain. Lymphatic flushing techniques will be demonstrated to relieve inflammation in the tissues. This Muscle Release Techniques for the Lower Extremity course will enhance a massage and bodywork professional’s awareness of deep tissue techniques for the lower extremity. Functional assessment activities will be presented to assist the therapist with identifying specific muscles associated with common problems in the lower extremity. The course also addresses movement techniques for this important area of common complaints by clients. The therapist will review and develop a detailed study of the skeletomuscular system of the lower extremity. Common conditions and injuries of this region will be identified, and applications of techniques will be considered.
