Ethics: Mastering the Client Experience - 4 CE hours (Tuition $135) -- Course expands student’s skills at defining and communicating boundaries with clients. Students will list common conversations where boundary scripts are needed. Students will identify current scripts and evaluate current language used in client conversations. Students will create and practice new scripts designed to communicate clearly and to enforce their policies and ethical standards. Participants will obtain constructive feedback following presentations.
Ethics: Navigating Boundaries - 3 CE hours (Tuition $100) -- This Ethics course will focus on the dynamics of culture and roles. While we our attending to the needs of our clients, there are many dynamics of cultural roles that simply are not addressed in a therapist's educational foundation. We may be completely or mostly unaware of the boundaries related society's diverse roles and related boundaries. This course will explore and identify the diverse potential of client roles and boundaries accessing our professional skills. This course will keep us on tract with the diversity of roles and important facets associated with uncertain or changing boundaries.
